Joining the firm in 1986 and becoming a principal in 1993, Mark is currently responsible for managing accounting, auditing and tax services for a wide range of clients. He works extensively with contractors and distributors and is primarily focused on commercial for-profit and high-net-worth clients. Mark has also presented various seminars on automobile dealership finances.

David A. DiIulis

David joined the firm in 1986 and became an Audit Principal in 1996. David has a wealth of experience working with government entities, higher education, and not-for-profit organizations. David is a certified government financial manager (CGFM). This certification demonstrates his commitment to expanding his knowledge in the highly technical government area. He received the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational achievement for Single Audits. In addition, he has been instrumental in assisting a number of organizations in obtaining a Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting from the Government Financial Officer’s Association for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). David has extensive experience assisting clients with GASB implementation and reporting. In addition, David has developed and presented seminars on a myriad of topics of interest to not for profit and governmental organizations. David also submitted articles that have been published in the Firm’s Higher Education newsletter.

Kevin J. Carnes

With over 20 years of public accounting experience, Kevin joined the firm in 1993 and became a Principal in 1997. His practice is primarily focused on family-owned commercial clients and working with automobile dealerships throughout the country. Kevin is a key leader in developing the internal audit division for automobile dealerships within O’Connor & Drew, P.C. Kevin specializes in serving automobile dealerships, not-for-profit organizations, government entities and closely-held businesses.

Kevin has worked in the automobile dealership industry since 1993 in all aspects of the business.

Jeffrey joined O’Connor & Drew, P.C. in 1997.  In 2005, he left O’Connor & Drew, P.C. to join a consulting firm that provides finance and accounting support to various Fortune 500 companies. In 2008, Jeffrey rejoined O’Connor & Drew, P.C. to continue his career in public accounting.  Jeffrey has experience in audit and tax services to closely held businesses and their shareholders as well as not-for-profit organizations. Steven J. Cohen

Steven Cohen is a Principal in the Accounting and Auditing Department and has been with the firm since 1996. Steven specializes in the audits of higher education, government entities, not-for-profit organizations and automobile dealerships. Steven has consulted with numerous organizations to improve their profitability, internal controls structure and compliance with Federal and state laws and regulations.

Steven is a certified governmental financial manager (CGFM). This certification demonstrates his commitment to expanding his knowledge in the highly technical government area. Steven has managed other government audit engagements, including our incurred cost and overhead audits for the Massachusetts Highway Department and Central Artery Tunnel Project (a/k/a “The Big Dig”) and our internal control work for the U.S. Postal Service. Steven has also assisted two of his governmental clients to receive the Compressive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) certificate for excellence in financial reporting. In addition, he has presented numerous seminars on various higher education topics at conferences nationwide.

Michael Cosgrove
