Principal

David joined the firm in 1986 and became an Audit Principal in 1996. David has a wealth of experience working with  government entities, higher education, and not-for-profit organizations. David is a certified government financial manager (CGFM). This certification demonstrates his commitment to expanding his knowledge in the highly technical government area. He received the Governmental Accounting and Auditing Certificate of Educational achievement for Single Audits under OMB Circular A-133.  In addition, he has been instrumental in assisting several entities obtaining a Certificate of Achievement in Financial Reporting from the Government Financial Officer’s Association for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).  David has extensive experience assisting clients with GASB 34/35 implementation and reporting. In addition, David has developed and presented numerous seminars on GASB 34/35 to professional and trade organizations.
